As far as I know the main yahoogroup on algae's photosynthesis energy sector is at http://www.egroups.com/group/solaroof and the main wiki at http://www.solaroof.org For 22 years since our Death of Distance future history scripted photosynthesis as one of the collaborative waves of this decade needed to sustain humanity, I can promise you I am always to delighted to be told that of alternative stages where the main event in making clean energy abucndant for all peoples is ocurring. Meanwhile I will post here an occasional contribution I make to the yahoogroup to check the latest state of how we tell Alage stories everywhere friends of photosynthesis can network

Hello
A couple of questions/ notes from Washington DC
There is a May 6 all day conference on Petrocaolapse with the following speakers invited. I will probably try to get to it. I guess my question is what's the latest general 1-page handout that I could try to distribute to help develop awareness /connections with Solaroof
Speakers include:
Albert Bates Global Ecovillage Network; author
Diana Leafe Christian Communities Magazine
John Darnell, Ph.D Energy advisor
Richard Heinberg Author, The Party's Over and Powerdown
Michael Kane From the Wilderness publications
Jan Lundberg Petroleum industry analyst; culturechange.org
Jenna Orkin Moderator; World Trade Center Environmental Organization
Joel Salatin Organic Agriculturalist
Mark Robinowitz Oilempire.us; author, Permatopia
David Room Post Carbon Institute; Global Public Media
Invited:
Cynthia McKinney, member of Congress
Faith Morgan, Community Solutions
Daniel Quinn, author, Ishmael
For more information, see www.petrocollapse.org
Secondly, I have made DC contact with Bill Drayton of www.ashoha.org who has been cataoguing who the socila entrepreneyr revolutionaries are around the world for 2 decades. If I understand correctly his favourite entrepreneur working on solar energy is the Brazilian Fabio Rosa who uses the metal-roof electricity conducting approach (excuse my layman's language)
http://www.ashoka.org/fellows/viewprofile3.cfm?reid=96996
who has also been written up as the lead case in a new book on the greatest stories of social entrepreneurs
http://www.changemakers.net/journal/01march/rosa.cfm
http://www.changemakers.net/journal/03may/bornstein.cfm
This raises the question: how can algae solaroof people collaborate with a person like this
I am sorry to always be asking the layman's questions in this network. But if I can't understand the simplest stories there is a danger that now the race in the US to end petroleum addiction is on, algaes as a solution will get left out from what seems to be attracting mush more mainstream noise
chris macrae wcbn007@easynet.co.uk
PS I am aware that there are lots of biodiesel debating spaces - some of which include algae disscussions as a fringe event. This is an example
